With little more than a month before the Baja 1000, it was all hands on deck across the United States today.
In Vacaville, Gil, Ricky, Crusty, Toby, Rosh and I converged on 1107 to start working through our 22-page checklist of everything we need to do to get 1107A ready for the Baja 1000, which departs for Mexico Nov. 15.

Out in Albuquerque, Romy rebuilt our second engine, which got trashed when we were hit from behind at the Mint 400. Miracle of miracles, he had a spare set of heads to replaced the cracked ones on Engine 2.
And, out in Virginia, 1107B was loaded on a shipping semi for a trip across country, arriving in Amargosa in Death Valley for some testing in about a week.
