Check out our sweet race shop.
We got a ton of work done this weekend. One of the time consuming (and noxious) things that needed to be done was paint the car. A Class 11 looks good for about 10 minutes before it usually gets thrashed at a race – particularly the 1000.
We’d had the car wrapped for the Mint 400 and a wrap definitely looks awesome, but it starts to look like a shag carpet after a couple of races. It would have taken years to strip the wrap and decals off the car, so I instead opted to re-spray it with Plasti-Dip, which is pretty much Rhino Liner Lite.
Next up, we have a local place apply sponsor decals. Another work day next weekend and then on to Amargosa. Photos from this weekend’s work are here.
