  • Posted a couple of TV news clips

I posted a couple of clips from KPIX’s coverage of us to the news gallery. You can check ’em out here.

  • Race day photos

SCORE organizer Sal Fish gives us the thumbs up at the start line.

Finally got the race day photos up. Major thanks to Marcus, our team photographer and videographer, for the imagery. Check ’em out here.

  • San Diego to Ensenada

    Our biggest fan.

Playing catchup on photos. Included in this gallery is shots from us in San Diego through taking 1146 through tech inspection on Monday night. Thanks to Marcus for the shots.

    Which you can view here.

  • And we’re back

Signing autographs in the line up to tech inspection.

Richard, Skid, Shawn and I pulled into Felton around 3 a.m., unpacked the RV and headed our separate ways. Crusty is southbound to Colette on the Baja Peninsula. Seth and Marcus headed to the high desert north of Los Angeles. I’m hoping Charlie and Cary made it back, towing 1146.

Once I get unpacked, I’ll start working through Marcus’s treasure trove of photos and will post a gallery on race day imagery.

Again, thanks to everyone for their tremendous support over these past few months. With a little bit of tweaking, we’re going to have a ferocious race car on our hands.

  • Three shots as we head into the wash

Right after we threaded the needle between the bridge railing and a telephone pole to drop down into the wash about one minute into the race.

Sharp right turn into a three foot deep mud puddle. Thank you trophy trucks.

Ok, got it pointed in the right direction aiming for the overpass. Onward to the Ensenada dump!
