  • No work this weekend

On top of everything else, it’s raining. And there’s NASCAR on. I think folks are gathering tomorrow to prep the car for the Mint 400.

  • The Battle at Primm in photos

    nada

Bob and Richard in the car…

Shawn’s better half, Lauren, took got some great shots from this weekend’s Battle at Primm. Folks are loading more photos and video and we should have more soon. Lauren also volunteered her Scion for parts duty.

    Some photos from this weekend…

  • Knocked out with a broken tie rod

    1107 is muddy.

1107 just before the second race.

Word from A.J. that we broke a tie rod. Car is back in the pits and otherwise fine. Team is already working on a solution.

    A.J. uploading photos now…wait…they’re up.

    Busted!

  • First shots from Battle at Primm

Yep, that's a flat tire all right.

Only one flat and one blown shock, and a bent tie rod and a loose steering box…

Not sure whether it’s official, but it appears that we finished fifth out of 19 Stock VWs in the first of two races at Battle at Primm. We’ve got plenty of spare tires and Eric Solorzano is loaning us a shock. The team is buttoning up the car then heading off for dinner.

A few photos from today are here, courtesy of Seth and A.J.
