June 25, 2012, Felton, Calif. – Desert Dingo Racing announced today that Rugged Radios, a leading supplier of communication systems to the offroad, sandcar, UTV and racing industries, will extend its support for the team for its 2012 season.
Desert Dingo Racing uses Rugged Radio’s signature line Vertex VX2200 VHF mobile radios in its race car and chase trucks. The Class 11 race car also uses a Rugged-designed RRP660 intercom (complete with iPhone adapter). The team also uses HX370 Submersible VHF 40 channel 5 Watt handhelds and headsets for spotting during short course races.
