Poly Performance will be providing the team with safety equipment, including a Synergy Suspension Quick Release Fire Extinguisher Mount, which offers an innovative way to safely mount a fire extinguisher to any flat or round surface using bolts or hose clamps. Poly Performance manufactures the two-piece mounting system from laser-cut 3/16-inch and 1/8-inch-thick high-strength steel. Zinc plating provides corrosion resistance -- even in marine environments -- and a finished look. Right Hand and Left Hand Release Pins are available. "Poly Performance has a longstanding reputation for durable, high quality products for the off-road racing world and their new quick release extinguisher mount is a significant safety enhancement to the car," said team co-founder Jim Graham. Desert Dingo Racing makes the car available for public events and distributes hero cards with the warning signs of diabetes printed on the back. Two team members have Type 2 diabetes and several other team members have a history of the disease in their families. The team completed the 2010 season ranked second in class in the Valley Off Road Racing Association series and competed in the Baja 1000 in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
